To succeed is business you have to apply wisdom. it’s flexible, real-time, new, and always changing. Whether you’re just starting your business or you’ve been in business for a really long time this article can help add perspective concerning business growth. Whether you’re a work from home business or a fortune 500 company wisdom continually asks “Can we do something better to get better results?” Better is simply applying a different or enhanced approach other than what you’re currently doing.

If you’re trying reach a large group of people in the shortest amount of time for the least amount of money, man power, and time how do you accomplish that? The answer is advertising. 2014 is long gone and can never be recovered and I’m positive you have some data based on last year’s performance of your business. As we’re making progress into 2015 chances are if you’re doing the same things you did last year you’re going to get the same results. When you go to a football game and the half time show starts how would you respond if a single band member came out on the field trying to play multiple instruments all at once. Would you take him/her serious? Now imagine a full-fledged band with different sections… woodwinds, brass, strings, percussion, drum majors, and a director. You’d thoroughly enjoy the music the second band will create I bet. It’s the same with business, one man bands in business don’t maximized their potential when they’re trying to do everything themselves. It takes faith to stretch your wings and try new approaches to marketing your business. You have to know how much is going out per month, quarterly, yearly, and how much is going in. Once you have that figure you must next allocate some of that funding to marketing if you’re really trying to grow. Some businesses do well by word of mouth but the majority have to take in to account their competition is here for the long haul.

Coke is a household name as is Pepsi but do you think Coke will let Pepsi advertise more in its home market of Atlanta? If it boils down to market share the answer is absolutely not. They’re past the stage of taking the first step in faith of marketing and advertising their business but what about you?

The goal of advertising/Marketing is to help you be the director of the band not the Saxophonist or trumpeter. One commercial can cover a lot more ground than one person. By saying this I mean you can’t wear every hat in your business, you’ve got to delegate some responsibility.
