My Basic LLC has unveiled tips that can catapult your business to success this year and 2019. The beginning of wisdom is to acquire wisdom, with all your acquisition acquire understanding. Proverbs 4:7

Assess what’s going on – Each business is unique and has different needs, same as the audience the business is focused on reaching. What marketing tools have worked and what hasn’t worked for marketing-servicesyour business? If you want different results you have to do think different and do that which you haven’t done before.

Plan -How do I succeed at my business more? Develop or redevelop a plan that is measurable. Keep what has worked and adjust what hasn’t. Your business plan/marketing plan should have all the answers and questions. If you don’t have a tried and tested plan, consult a marketing firm to help out.

B.u.d.g.e.t. – Are you familiar with the saying “it takes money to make money?” There is truth to it, more than some may think. A businesses budget should be consistent with realistic goals. It is not uncommon to invest between 5%-10% of gross revenue. How much you invest will depend on how successful and aggressive you want to be with your investment.

Stick to the plan– It is good to continually look at your business/marketing plan to gauge growth. Are you on track? If not let’s talk about it.

Operate within your means – Your means is your ability and the resources available for you to use to grow your business. Remember not to overextend yourself whether it’s money (your budget), time, or talent. Many businesses have competitors who have gargantuan budgets and that’s ok. We won’t use that as an excuse to not get out there, meet a need, compete, do business, build relationships, and win! Remember the story of David and Goliath? Leverage time – Don’t try to do everything yourself. You could experience burn out and your business could suffer. If you work with an experienced marketing firm, it’s highly probable they’ll help you meet your business goals, leverage your time, and better position you to macromanage your business. Does it make more sense to put more time in your social media posts or website posts?

Where you spend your time adding posts depends on where your audience spends their time. Do they spend more time on social media or do they spend more time searching for your service on mybasicllcthe internet?

Chances are they’re going to use their “go to” search engine to find your service and use a keyword they either know or they’re trying to think of to find your product or service. It helps to have your marketing campaign setup where you’re using social media if that’s where your audience is, the root of your campaign should be focused on constantly adding content to your website which will be search engine focused.

This question can help you answer the original post answer, do you want your audience spending more time on your website which you completely manage or social media which someone else manages? Your website is the correct answer. Add content to your website then share the link on social media, more time on your website increases the probability they’ll do business with you.

You ever post something on Facebook and hoped it would show up in search results? Us too lol but waiting around for that day to happen is not the best use of time, keep social media as part of the campaign but focus on adding content to your website.

Set up a schedule that helps you be consistent and add content that is relevant and helpful to your readers, it’s probable search engines with reward your for such efforts. How? Your efforts position you to be found by your audience, and they didn’t type in your domain name to find you.

The algorithm to success

According to Local Search Association, 8 out of 10 people use search engines to find local products or services, while there are 3.5 billion searches on Google daily. Despite these high statistics, it’s still unlikely your website will get the attention you desire. Currently there are over 1.8 billion sites on the web which makes it difficult to establish a web presence. One of the best ways to improve your online presence is by investing in Search Engine Optimization.
