You may not be the writing type and that’s where we can lend a hand if needed. But if you’re the kind of person/organization where you DIY blogging is a great way to connect with your audience.

Add pictures to your posts
Adding pictures to your posts can stimulate the eyeballs of your audience. Text by itself is good but adding visuals to support what you’re talking about is even better. Have you ever tried to work your way through a 2000 word article with no pictures?
Yes, novels and books have their place because they stimulate the imagination. What if your audience doesn’t like to read, loves YouTube or Tik Tok, but you still need to connect with them? You adapt.
Simplify your content
In today’s fast-paced environment creating content that puts people to sleep is counterintuitive. Did that word throw you for a loop for just a second? Being sophisticated in your content to an audience that is looking for your product or services in a short amount of time can prove costly.
If your audience involves scholars and highly educated people I understand the concept of reaching them where they are. What if they like entertainment that is simple like basketball or tennis. The simplified objective is to win in those sports.
You’re contending with people who spend millions on understanding your audience and reaching them. Make your content consumable by more people.
Schedule your posts so you are consistent
If you want to keep people and search engines coming to your website keep the content coming. It does give you an edge to continually add content over a competitor that doesn’t add anything. Now there is always an exception to the rule but generally, you want search engines to copy your content and list it in search results with keywords that are being used. This is one of many strategies we like to help our clients understand. Ha, we’re treating you like one of our clients and we haven’t even met you yet. We’re adding value.
Talk about things related to your industry
If you’re an expert in carpet cleaning or medical care it could turn away potential customers if you have excessive content about things unrelated to the services or products you provide. Again there is always an exception to the rule but be sure to categorize what you talk about so if people use the search bar on your website they can find what they’re looking for.
Use keywords relevant to your industry
How do people online find your services? Keywords. Include in your content keywords people are using to find services like yours. You’d be surprised how many people are typing in keywords over the name of your business to find services and products unless you’re a household name.
There are many resources online you can use to find what keywords people are using. We’re going to share some with you but you gotta schedule a complimentary consultation so we can give you the inside scoop. (Schedule Here)
Share what you’ve written on social media
Often you gotta go where your audience hangs out to share new content you’ve created. You increase the chances dramatically of engagement if you share a post you’ve just written on your social media channels versus not sharing it at all and leaving it on your website to be found.
